UDC and AU Students Participate in Cuban Embassy Exhibit

The Embassy of Cuba in the United States collaborated with students from American University and University of the District of Columbia, under the guidance of Professor Iwan Bagus, to present a photographic exhibition as part of its Black History Month programming. The exhibit focuses on the work and influence of Roberto Fernández Retamar and Angela Davis, exploring themes of race, liberation and political responsibility.

Held at the embassy in Washington, the exhibition aims to encourage dialogue about ongoing struggles for social justice and is open to the public by appointment starting March 2.
